How to Make a Quiet Book - This blog is an excellent source for how to put a book together in a way that will last forever. She also has several pages that she give tutorials and patterns for. All FREE! Love that.
ABC 123 Craft Book by Phyllis Fiarotta - For some reason Amazon does not have a picture of this book, but believe me. The pictures are bright and colorful and give you instructions on doing pages for each letter and numbers 1-10. Whoa.
So I have decided to first make an ABC Quiet Book. Then perhaps I'll eventually make a 123 book as well. But regardless, I will post each page here as a hopeful source of inspiration for you.
Many of the pages I have seen use fabric paint or fabric markers to write on their pages, so, if you're not into handstitching, that's definitely another option for you. I enjoy embroidery and I think it adds a little something to the page, and another something for little ones to touch and feel.
For the 'A' page I used a touch faux suede for the apple basket, which will hopefully hold up over the years of love.
**Hint- Before sewing down smaller items (like the letters) I would definitely adhere them with double-sided fusible interfacing first.

**Edited to add that these letters are back to back and I will eventually cut three holes and add grommets so that I can attach all of the pages together with rings. See How to Make a Quiet Book for instructions.

So cute! Nice work! -Kelsee
What are the pages made of? I have been wanting to make one also and trying to figure out what the pages are made of??
I haven't started one yet, but when I do, I think I am going to keep the pages in a bag so they don't have to be attached to each other.
