Quiet Book: C & D

Here are the next pages. This is so much fun! And these two pages I thought up all by my little 'ol self. I saw these little clothes pins in a craft store and knew they'd be perfect for Goose's fairy haven...but alas, they were sucked up into this quiet book instead. I know she'll have a fun time with this one.

I did use a snap with the laundry basket in hopes that the clothes won't end up all over my church bag (there is already laundry all over my house...I don't need it following me to church...).

As for the 'D' page. I am so thrilled with how this one turned out. First I cut out the door. Then I cut out a piece of blue felt that would be behind the door. Then I drew the outline of the opening and cut it out. Then I cut out a piece of clear vinyl the same size as the blue felt and and sewed it to the felt, but only laong the top. Then I attached it to the page along the other 3 sides. Then came the door (made with two pieces of felt for sturdiness). I think the kids will enjoy seeing their pictures behind the door. Another idea would be to sew on a little plastic mirror (like the ones you see in baby toys??).

I love this book! How did you attach the clothesline to the page? I'd love to do one like that.

BB- I used a yarn needle and pulled that sucker through as hard as a could:) Another option would be to just put the ends of the line under felt, just make the clothesline poles out of felt, you know what I mean? Hope that helps:)

I love this. You mention sewing in a little mirror. Do you have any idea where you can get one?
